9-Apartment Development in Totnes, Devon

The Renewable Sparks has successfully completed the electrical works for a development of nine modern apartments in Totnes, Devon.

Our team delivered the electrical installation across the individual apartments, communal areas and external spaces, alongside EV charging infrastructure and essential life-safety systems.

Electrical Installations Across 9 Apartments

Our team completed the electrical installation within each of the nine apartments, delivering the power, lighting, distribution and associated electrical services required throughout the properties.

Working across the entire development enabled us to maintain a consistent standard of installation while coordinating our works with the wider construction programme and other trades on site.

All installations were completed through the various stages of construction before final inspection, testing and commissioning.

Communal & Landlord Electrical Services

Our involvement extended beyond the apartments themselves.

We delivered the communal and landlord electrical services, including distribution, lighting and power throughout the shared areas of the development.

Bringing the apartment and communal electrical works together under one contractor provided a coordinated approach across the building and simplified the transition from construction through to final handover.

External Lighting & Car Park Electrics

The electrical package also extended into the external areas of the development.

Our team installed the external lighting, power and electrical infrastructure serving the site and car park, creating a practical and professionally finished environment around the new apartments.

EV Charging Infrastructure

To support the growing demand for electric vehicles, the development also incorporates dedicated EV charging facilities within the external car park.

The Renewable Sparks delivered the electrical infrastructure and installation of the charging points, integrating the EV system into the wider electrical distribution serving the development.

Providing EV charging as part of the original construction also gives residents a purpose-built solution rather than requiring charging infrastructure to be retrofitted at a later date.

Fire Protection & Emergency Lighting

Life-safety systems formed another important part of our scope.

The project included the installation, testing and commissioning of the required fire protection and emergency lighting systems, providing essential protection throughout the communal areas and escape routes.

These systems were coordinated alongside the general electrical installation to form part of the completed and commissioned building services package.
